Dr. Meghan Simoneaux Richard is now the owner and head of Ville Platte Vet Clinic and she is without a doubt the absolute best caregiver any pet parent could wish for. I recently had to say goodbye to my baby boy of 15 years due to complications from diabetes, and the entire staff were so incredibly supportive and caring and compassionate. After I received my baby’s ashes a week later, I also received a handwritten card in the mail from the clinic signed by everyone in the office and inside the card was a small ziplock bag containing a locket of my dog’s hair. It was the sweetest gesture ever and it brought me to tears. They truly are like family and they treat every patient like family. ❤️

They are awesome! Worked my big dog in without hesitation for a non life threatening emergency. Sent us home with antibiotics and pain management for him(my experience has been with other vets that pain meds were scoffed at, he's just a dog)
