How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cypress Veterinary Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This guy is a joke. A friends dying cat was taken in here by her dad and he was told that he could not be with the cat while putting her to sleep! Two years ago when I had to put my own cat down (at another vet) her and I were both allowed to be in the room. This guy obviously doesn’t care about the animals or people that they love. Stay away from this place.

My father brought my 18 year cat in who is suddenly dying into be euthanized. Dr. Poynter took the paperwork balled it up in front of my father and, told him he could not hold my cat while she passes. So I called to confront him and ask him about it; “Are you the person who balled up the paperwork in front of my dad?” He was dead silent because he’s obviously a coward who gets off on the cruelty. I was able to go with a friend to be with him and his pet during euthanizing. I have NEVER heard of someone refusing a pet parent their last moments with their animal. Do not trust this person with your pet. I will be posting this on all social media platforms so no one bothers you by giving you any business or money and I will be reporting your license. You really thought you would get away with bullying an older man?? You’re so pathetic you’re answering your calls bc I doubt anyone would want to work at your office!

Always friendly and explain everything. They love my dog. I have lived in 8 different states and seen at least 20 vetinarians. He is definitely in the top 3 vets I have used over the years. Very reasonable boarding rates.
