What can I say about Dr. Rich and his amazing staff! They always come through, the level of compassion and professionalism is unmatched! In such a niche profession they make it easy to live and care for our less traditional pets! They are my go to for all our exotics! Can’t recommend Dr. Rich enough! The veterinarians and staff were very honest and responsible with my pet rats. They didn’t hesitate to schedule us for an important surgery, and were very helpful with after care instructions! They even sent me a picture of my girl while she was in their care.

My senior bearded dragon was very ill and the vets at Avian & Exotic took very good care of her in her final days. They were very kind and sympathetic as I was very emotional in their office, and they were very transparent about expenses and the logistics of the necessary procedures. My lizard passed away in their care due to her illness, and the vets reassured me that she was surrounded by people and looked after on her final day. I'm very grateful for the awesome service I received, and the vets really helped me get through my final moments with my beardie. I just graduated college and she was my first pet, and I'm very grateful that the vets here explained everything to me in detail and took great care of my girl.

Absolutely courteous, professional, and subject-matter-experts! Check in was easy, the wait time was short, and their facilities are very clean. I brought my turtle in for a checkup and a beak trim and left with some much needed knowledge of how to get my turtle to eat more than just peas. I highly recommend these folks with your exotic pet's medical needs.

I cannot say enough good words about this hospital and their staff. Dr. Rich was so professional and sympathetic. Everyone there helped us through a very hard event. I couldnt be pressed to say anything wrong about this place. If you need help for your ill exotic pet, this is the place you want to go. Period.
