How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Union Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We are new to Union Vet as of this year. I'm so grateful to have found them. Incredible team and I feel super comfortable with them handling all our fur babies medical needs.

I highly recommend both MaryBeth and Bat Brantley. They have looked after my pets for years and I won't go anywhere else. Union Veterinary Clinic is always friendly and knowledgeable and the staff go over and beyond to make sure you have a happy healthy pet.

Were not helpful over the phone and honestly sounded kind of rude. I was trying to set up an appointment, why does your page say you see exotic animals, if you don't see exotic animals.

Took our Cash, a pit bull mix stray, to the vet where he got excellent care. He had an enormous amount of heartworms. Doc gave us meds which helped and gave Cash a little longer to live. But the heartworms won out and Cash got to where he was gasping for breath. It hurt our hearts but we decided to have him put to sleep. Doc and staff came outside the clinic to my van and picked up what use to be an almost hundred pound dog then took him inside. They did it very lovingly and treated him kindly. I was sobbing so badly that I could barely speak. Even now, a few months later, I’m still crying thinking about that sweet boy who impacted our lives and how sadly it had to end. The doctor very sympathetically told me he would take care of Cash and I know he meant it. I was too broken to tell him thank you. So now I would like to take this time to say thank you for being so kind and thoughtful. Thank you for giving our sweet Cash rest and peace in a very humane caring way. Sincerely, Sonja & John Bewick Farmerville
