Dr Barry & Lana are wonderful. Pretty Girl loves them. They are gentle & kind to patients & Parents, Lol. We transferred Pretty Girl's vet care to Dr Barry 2 years ago. The first visit was a HOUSE CALL. Yes she came to our home to exam & care for Pretty Girl. Dr Barry brought everything she needed to do a thorough exam on Pretty Girl. She sends us texts periodically, just to check on Pretty Girl. We get reminders about shots/tests that are coming due. Prices are about the same as other vets & in some cases less. She considers the cost of items/meds & tells you where you can save money. The clinic is nice & clean. It doesnt smell like a lot of vet clinics do. Our previous vet was in Springhill, about a 30-45 minute drive from Benton, La. Lakehaven Vet is about 5 minutes from our home. The new clinic is conveniently located on Hwy 3, in the heart of Benton. Across from the old Covington's. We highly recommend Lakehaven Vet.

It was such a wonderful experience to have Meredith come into our home for our little old lady cat who hates going to the vet office. Meredith put us all at ease and took excellent care of our family feline. She offered a treat and provided a snuggy vest to keep her calm during her blood draw. I highly recommend Lakehaven Vet and will definitely call again. So thankful to find such an amazing home service!

Meredith was very friendly and professional when she came for her visit with Olive! The appointment was very convenient since she came to the house and Olive was calm and at ease being in her own environment! I would highly recommend using this service and Meredith to anyone I know and who loves their pets!

Overall it was a blessing to have an option for the home appt by Dr. Barry. My Charlie was born blind & deaf so strange smells make him anxious and nervous, also he was an old guy and was having a hard time getting around. Dr. Barry was very professional and kind. Although sad to say goodbye to an amazing Dog, it was a peaceful situation for Charlie and myself 🩵 definitely recommend Dr. Barry's services and will call her again if the situation suffices.

Our cat does not like going to the vet. We were so happy to have Dr. Barry come to our house to take care of his nails and vaccines. Highly recommend Lakehaven Vet!
