Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance

Wonderful veterinarian, he and his staff loves animals and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Laid up from surgery and I needed Uber to bring my cat home and they were all so helpful having the cat ready when the driver got there. Really appreciate the extra help from the staff. All of my kitties are extremely old so I know Dr Mooney will help me with hard decisions when the time comes. Love them all.

Dr. Mooney and Dr. Erica(please forgive me I can’t remember her last name) are by far the best! I just started taking my babies here in January, and I can only say good things about the whole staff. I had to put my baby to sleep in February, and Dr. Mooney was so caring through the whole process. He answered all of my questions and gave me as much time as I needed with her. I felt at peace with the decision I made, and I don’t think I would have without his assurance. They even sent me a card in the mail with her paw print, and it meant so much to me! We also had a traumatic event with our cat getting his tail stuck in our recliner. Most of his tail had to be amputated, but Dr. Mooney did an amazing job. His tail was healed perfectly, and he was back to himself in no time. I finally just took my Boston Terrier to get her yearly checkup today. Dr. Erica took care of her, and was so so good with her! These are people who genuinely love animals, and I wouldn’t want anyone else taking care of my babies now. I am so glad I made the switch, my past vet was unfortunately nothing like this. I 100% recommend Park Forest Animal Hospital!
