How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cumberland Valley Veterinary Services
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

CVAH has cared for our dogs and cats for several years! Dr Smith and ALL his staff have always taken good care of our pets. After establishing Vet/pet relationships... you can text to office for refills of Rx's, concerns, questions etc., Dr Smith has always shown compassion for our animals and treated each one with respect...even in their final hours. Dr Smith will answer each of your concerns and recommend different treatment options suited to your wallet. At this time I don't think CVAH is taking new patients...but I do recommend their services.

I have two English bulldogs and I wouldn't trust anyone else with them. They are always polite, and eager to answer any questions. They offer text messaging, online booking and they are clean and very well organized.

The only place I will take my animals. Wonderful staff, wonderful care, and always kind. I've dealt with them for years and just this week Dr. Smith saved my temperamental Missy girl after swallowing part of a toy. She is exhausted, but healthy again, and home, where she belongs. Thank you to everyone at CVVS for blessing our community!
