How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Skyline Animal Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I built a home in Clarksville and when I researched a new vet this was the first to come up as its so close to home. Great reviews. My dog has Addisons. No one ever tried to lower her med levels to where she can be healthy yet not cost me a fortune. But this vet has been doing that. Shes thriving. Shes never reluctant to visit this place. Other places she sensed and was like nope not going. Im aware of prices every step. And they take Care Credit. My dog is Blind from her condition and they work well with her insecurity. Highly recommend .

Took my little guy in for kennel cough. Office staff super helpful! Dr. Daugherty was exceptionally caring, thorough, and friendly. Within 24 hours my dog is acting like himself again. Greets us at the door, wants to play, eating, and best of all not coughing anymore!! Thank you Dr. Daugherty and entire Skyline staff!!!

My dog was seen for her annual checkup and received all her shots an meds, including rabies. She had an X-ray of her hip. The doctor and assistants were wonderful. They made her feel relaxed and she behaved well. I am very happy with our appointment and care. All my questions were answered. A 5-star visit!

I love Skyline. Great vets and techs. We took our two black labradors for their yearly exams, and I was apologizing to the vet about their overly long nails they came back into the exam room with clipped nails! I asked how they did that as my dogs hate and fight, getting their nails clipped by me. Also, I was afraid I'd clip them too short and make them bleed. They explain how we could do this at home and what to look for with totally black nails. Now my dogs don't break my skin every time they put a paw on me!
