How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Town & Country Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I can’t thank Dr.Hagans ,and his staff enough for helping my dog,Gizmo when she was bitten by a copper head. They did a wonderful job, I highly recommend them, my girl isn’t easy to handle, they are just wonderful.

Great doc. Couldn’t ask for a better vet when it comes to the treatment… The pricing though. WOW. Thats the whole reason for this 1 star review. After several visits (40$ each time door opens) we get a quote of 250$ for a 19 lb dog to be neutered. Thankfully we called around and found the average to be 75$ for that size dog. Needless to say we’ll be going elsewhere. Can only imagine how much I was overcharged for the 3 separate visits that were “required” … again great place to take your pet if you don’t mind being charged 50-75% more than any other vet in the tri-county area.

The staff makes you feel like you are part of their "buisness family" and a very professional. You are made aware of the services every step of the way with your animal's visit. I am very happy with Dr. Hagen's services for all three of my animals. He truly does a wonderful job and has always helped with any emergency services we have had as well. Making sure the staff and himself are available after hours . They all go above and beyond with care, services, and compassion. I cannot say enough good things about Town & Country 🏥🩺🥼🐱🐶
