We are beyond impressed with this practice. The veterinarians are brilliant, practice with high emotional intelligence and love our dogs like we do. The staff is kind, welcoming and professional. The response time and ability to get in quickly is perfect for our needs. Facility is beautiful and clean. Timely communication Is unmatched. Our 8 year old dog is nervous but Dr. Wilcox’ patience, compassion and gentle nature makes Cora feel safe.

I would highly recommend Dr. McClain at Animal Health Center!! We were referred to her by a friend for a second opinion on an issue with our Lab mix Marley. The staff are so welcoming and sweet to her and myself, they listen and are thorough in their exam/diagnosis and explanation. I love the detailed email I receive after each visit. Marley has never liked going to the vet, but that has definitely changed! It may be a bit of a drive for us, but it is so worth it!! Thank you all for loving our girl like we do!!!

We love the clean, cool facility and the wonderful, knowledgeable people. Melinda is so happy with such a relaxed vibe that pets and people are drawn toward. Dr. Wilcox is incredible at her job—she's the perfect combination of a vet who is highly intelligent with incredible bedside manner. She cares deeply about pets and their owners. We've been blessed to have her guidance, love and patience on our journey with a senior dog and all that entails. Couldn't do it without her and her amazing team!

Our dogs are eight and seven years old. Dr Wilcox has been their vet since they were 12 weeks old and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with their care. We followed her from her previous location and the success she has had is a testament to her abilities as a veterinarian.

Our experience with Animal Health Center of Leawood has been wonderful. Our pets have be well taken care of and the veterinarians have gone above and beyond. Dr. McClain and Dr. Wilcox are so great with our pets and we've never had such great care! They take their time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any and all questions. I would definitely recommend them!
