How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Garden City Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Absolutely horrible vet. I called previously to see if the offered after hour services in case of emergency. Today, My dog developed a mass that needed drained as it was growing rapidly. I called at 1158 on Saturday and the lady that answered proceeded to reprimand me over missing an appointment over a month ago and then she informed me that they would not be able to help my dog. Check out the previous reviews as well. There aren't many good vets in garden but traveling might solve that. Update: 8/9/2023- today I contacted the clinic seeking treatment for my dog's possible case of intestinal worms. Upon calling and giving our information we were immediately told that they will no longer be helping any of my animals. I'm honestly very amazed, yet not surprised at the same time. This establishment does not seek the betterment of our community or the welfare of our animals in any way. They have decided to not provide care for an animal in need because I left an honest review about my experience at their clinic. Beware.

I do not recommend this clinic to anyone, especially for emergencies. We received a call back around 10:20 pm for our cat who is weak and puking up blood, and they basically refused us an emergency visit with no valid reason, even though we expressed our concerns and worry. Please find another vet, I wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Nice pet friendly environment. They’re very organized and offer pet food, supplies and medications.

Don't go to this place if you have an emergency with your pet! They don't care! They'll tell you everything in the book to make you leave, they don't care about your pets! Go anywhere else.

VERY POOR customer service. Will not be bringing any of my pets back and do not recommend anyone else to, unless you want a place that truly doesn't care about you or your pet.
