We are new to the area and my 8 year old male border collie started limping out of no where and seemed to have some swelling in his front leg. When I called, the lady was very friendly and ask that we bring him down to get a look at it, asap. They worked us in very quickly, a matter of minutes of being there. Very kind staff and knowledgeable, friendly veterinary. I found it to be a warm, comfortable environment for both my best buddy and I. Would definitely highly recommend.

Dr Hess & all the staff have taken super excellent care of my fur babies. When my beloved Feisty passed unexpectedly, they came got him. Made a donation in his name to KS State Vet School. You absolutely will not find any better vets/people to care for any of your extended family

They squeezed us in this morning with a dog struggling with labor. They were all great and came home with all the puppies alive and mom doing well. It's an hour drive but they will continue to get our business.

Our 1 month old kitten Stormi got pretty sick one day and we were scared and so we took her here where they treated her amazingly. We were updated on her treatments and how she was doing. She stayed for about 4 nights and we were allowed to visit her in person. She is looking amazing now! She’s acting just like a kitten should act and is looking very healthy already. Emporia East Vet will be our go to for as long as we are in Emporia. They even decorated her cone for her. The whole staff is amazing! Thank you for taking care of our sweet girl.
