Dr. K and her staff truly love our pets like they are their own. They go above and beyond each and every time to give our pets the best care possible! They were there when we had to put our 17.5 year old miniature schnauzer to sleep. They approach our highly anxious rescue dog with so much patience and compassion and if it weren’t for their big, generous hearts, we wouldn’t even have our precious one-eyed rescue cat (Dr. K’s sister found him on a country road all by himself when he was just 6 weeks old and Dr. K took the time to care for him for months and even did surgery to remove his infected eye until she found his forever home with us!) They are so patient and accommodating with your dogs needs. My anxiety has been through the roof lately and I walked away feeling a lot better from their kind calmness. Of course that energy affects our pets so for this approach alone is appreciated.

They treated my English Bulldog Maggie. They were wonderful with her. It will be a year in May since she passed away.😢

The most genuine and caring veterinarian and staff in this area. Kyla is wonderful with your pets. The fees for services are affordable and it is a short 30 minute drive from Mattoon. I would take my animals no where else after going to Okaw Veterinary Clinic.
