Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Took my dog in today for his annual exam and vaccines. First thing I notice is that the animal hospital does not smell and is clean. (sure, the building is older, but clean--no urine/pet odor at all!) The waiting room is large and inviting (also has an area for children). The front desk staff was kind and helped me right away. Once in the room, the veterinarian got down on the ground to look at my dog. Not only was she was very kind and caring, but she listened to my concerns and quickly answered. Exam, blood draw, vaccines, etc. were all completed in the exam room while I was present. They were very professional, honest, and caring throughout the whole exam. I feel like I have found my team that practices good medicine and cares about my furbaby as much as I do. Louie is happy because he got lots of treats!!!

Doctor is great. Good service. The base price for teeth cleaning is more affordable compared to other vets in the area.

I’ve had both of my French Bulldogs spayed here at Palatine Animal Hospital. Dr.Luttrell and staff went above and beyond for me. If you are looking for a reliable Veterinarian to have your dog spayed or neutered, I highly recommend Palatine Animal Hospital. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to numerous other Veterinarians I researched in the area and are they are very knowledgeable. Thank you so much Dr.Luttrell and staff for your excellent service!

Used to work there, and now I bring my pets. Caring and patient staff. No doubt in the information I’m receiving. I have not had the same experience everywhere and I know just enough about veterinary medicine to know the difference.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! The technicians and the vet are uncompassionate and careless. Instead they care for the money in your pockets instead of real veterinary care. I brought my cat here for a simple UTI and was given no solutions. Now two weeks later he has an entire blockage and needs surgery with barely any follow up from the vet. Was given an all clear when he wasn’t and wanted us to come in again for another test when he has a whole blockage now that could’ve been prevented! Our cat was put on his death bed almost because of this vet’s negligence! DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE
