How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Glencoe Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

I needed someone who would work with me in the caring if my pets and upon the recommendation of a friend. I came to your practice. I was very satisfied with the care given, questions answered and the pricing. The office was clean, friendly and the staff was very cordial. The wait time was short and the appointment was on time. .

I have 4 (soon to be 5) pets that I take to Glencoe Animal Hospital - 2 dogs and 3 cats. They all see Dr. Grogman, who is a phenomenal vet. Everyone is friendly, concerned, want the very best for your pets, and are great with communication. GAH is hands down the very best place to take your fur babies for top notch care.

I have been coming to Glencoe Animal Hospital with my animals since I was a little girl and there is no other place I would take my animals. They have always been so friendly, professional, accommodating and empathetic of any situation. They are so patient with my animals and I know they really care about them.

We love Glencoe Animal Hospital and have been clients for almost 20 years. Dr. Grogman always returns our calls promptly and patiently answers all questions. She truly cares about our kitty. Jeff, the tech, is also truly amazing. Whenever our cat returns from a visit and has been handled by either Dr. Grogman or Jeff, he acts as if he never went to the vet. Also, Dr. Grogman always provides wise advice on next steps whenever one of our pets has a medical issue. The front desk staff are very efficient and helpful.
