How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Monmouth Small Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Andrea explained they were busy and had an emergency, but offered to take Matilda to a procedure room where she and Maggie could treat her together. The ladies were extremely professional and caring, and Matilda was really calm. I felt very comforted knowing Matilda was in good, loving hands.

Dr. Weech and his staff are amazing. We know our furbabies will always receive excellent care. We drive almost an hour to take our pets to see Dr. Weech and it is well worth the drive. As long as Monmouth Small Animal Hospital is open we will always take our dogs there, without question. Geoff and his staff are caring and compassionate and honestly, like family to us and our dogs. Thank you Geoff and staff for all you do for our babies. We appreciate you all so much!
