I can't say enough good things about Lane Vet! Ever since we moved from the city to the burbs in 2020, we had been looking for a Veterinarian to replace the vet practice in the city that we (and our 2 dogs) loved. We finally found that with Lane Vet. Dr. Baker is extremely knowledgeable, a great listener/communicator, very proactive, and shows an abundance of care and compassion for pets and pet parents. Also, all of the staff members that I've interacted with have been extremely helpful, kind and professional. The facility is brand new with a spa like feel and conveniently located for anyone in the Western Burbs. Our dogs are an important part of our family, so we are very particular about where they receive their care. We are so glad we found the right provider in Dr. Baker and Lane Vet.

We have been lucky enough to be under Dr. Baker’s care for 10+ years. Dr. Baker is the total package - a knowledgeable practitioner and a compassionate person. If you are looking for a vet that communicates and lets you know all your options - you have found her! We had been seeing Dr. Baker since our first dog was a puppy. When he turned 2.5, he started having seizures and was diagnosed with auto immune meningitis. Dr. Baker was with us every step of the way - referring us to specialists and calling them on our behalf to ask follow up questions and to collaborate on his care. She treated my dog like her own, making sure he had all the medications and treatment lined up so he could live his best quality of life. It would have been easy to be overwhelmed, but Dr. Baker and her team made sure that we knew what was happening and what the care plan was. Because of Dr. Baker’s care our dog Henry lived a wonderful and comfortable life despite the cards he was dealt. She held my hand when we reached the end and kept my Henry safe and as pain free as possible. It’s a gift that is truly priceless and I will forever be thankful for. Our second dog has also received thoughtful and amazing care from Dr. Baker. Our dog is an anxious soul, and she connected me with the right behavioral specialists so he can live his fullest life without fear. In addition to his behavioral challenges, he has also had issues with skin allergies and Dr. Baker and her team made a plan so we can keep it under control so he can be comfortable and itch free. Clark lives a great life and is able to relax and enjoy his favorite things thanks to the team Dr. Baker assembled for us. In short, we love Dr. Baker and highly recommend her and her team to any pet parents out there! She deeply cares and is extremely knowledgeable. Your fur baby will be in the best hands.

Dr. Baker is one of the best! It took me going to a couple different veterinarians until I knew I found the one. She’s smart, personable and will help you make the right decisions for your fur babies. She treated our dogs like they were her own and is so easy to talk to. I always recommend her to anyone needing a caring veterinarian.

I highly recommend this team to care for your pup or any animal. They clearly love what they do and love all animals. Dr. Baker has great presence with her patients. Kali has quickly become Livy’s favorite human!!
