How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Glenwood Village Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The whole team was compassionate and engaging. My Chi had a great visit, she was there for a nail trim which she hates (I cannot clip her nails; she literally screams bloody murder). She was nervous but the tech was gentle, caring, and kind. She was in and out with no issues. Very clean office and it doesn't smell like wet dogs. 👍🏼

I cannot say enough wonderful things about all the doctors and staff here. They've seen every pet I've owned in the last 20 or so years- from cats and dogs to chickens. They do surgeries in house instead of referring out to someone else so your furry/feathered/scaled babies are comfortable with a familiar face. They comfort you in times of loss and they celebrate with you with successes. Wonderful place. Look no further, this is your vet!

First time being here and the whole staff was great. They took good care of my dog. The hours on Saturdays are convenient for me.

OMGOODNESS!! This place is phenomenal. From the facility to every single employee we spoke with and encountered. We were referred here for our elderly guinea pig. Unfortunately, we had to make a difficult decision, but from the vet, to the techs, to the front desk...compassionate. Considerate. So incredibly kind. Your pet, and you, are in fantastic hands!!!!
