We are in Galena for the holiday weekend and our dog became sick. Most places would not accept emergency appointments if you weren’t already a client. We felt very fortunate to find Dr. Caitlin. She took such good care of our Ivy and made sure she would be quickly on the mend. Dr was very thorough, took time to clearly explain what was going on and genuinely cared.

Dr. Shafer neutered our rescue dog last week. She is a 72 lb Shep, and about 4 yrs old. I brought her home same day with pain meds she has not needed. The incision was barely noticeable, was never itchy. It was a great job so professionally done! Thank you, Dr, Shafer!

The Vets, Techs and Front desk staff have always been caring with my dogs. Both my dogs have anxiety and the staff has taken their time with them to help relieve them of their stress.

The staff were very friendly, and listened and answered my questions with the knowledge they have. What a caring team they have. My dog Dodger is one of their patients. He is always happy to see them. I would tell anyone that their pets would be in good hands with this staff.😊
