How to Save on Veterinary Costs at River Ridge Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

We have been here several times but the last year has been terrible staff how do you get treated pricing ridiculous. My dog has been chewing on her paws and rubbing her ears one visit +2 medication‘s with refills and $700 last and final visit $500 will not return later the problem still exist many times I googled the problem and search for a home remedy, followed it for two weeks and issue solved I normally do not go buy reviews. I just try to give everybody a chance to prove their work, I am just sick to my stomach on the amount of money we spent the medicines we got the snooty snobby staff. I’m done with it.

Vets and staff are great but the prices are over the top. Not too bad when it's just wellness and shots but if it's cleaning or anything else it's ridiculously priced. I love my dogs but I am not going to be abused. I will not pay for the vets' lifestyle. I was quoted teeth cleaning for an older dog with extractions at $1000-$1500 got it done somewhere else for less than $600

I've heard many great things about the veterinary care at River Ridge and was very happy to be taking my dog here, but after my most recent visit, I will not be returning. I was happy with the veterinary care my ACD received, but I was extremely dissatisfied with how the reception staff treated me. A lady named Tiffany was extremely short and snappy with me, and I was only asking a few questions about billing. Unfortunately, I do not feel comfortable to return. We've already been to another local vet with much cheaper pricing, and friendlier staff, so I encourage others to do the same.

Excellent Care!!! We have been taking our dog here for almost 10years and have ALWAYS been happy. All staff and veterinarians treat our pet like their own. I'll admit a few times we have tried other vets but were NOT pleased with the level of care elsewhere. Lesson learned. Will always return. Thank you, River Ridge Animal Hospital!!!

Dr. Nate saved our dogs life today! He had a bloated and twisted stomach early this morning. We called out to the hospital first thing in the morning and the staff was very helpful in determining what the course of action was. After their recommendation of bringing him in, he had emergency surgery with Dr. Nathan McClain whom saved our dog! He has a long road to recovery but without River ridge, we’d be without our family pup! Can’t thank them enough for their promptness and thoroughness! First class service!
