Had a great experience with our visit. My cat is scared of strangers but everyone made sure that he was comfortable and were quick to check on him. Dr Hoffman was very sweet and attentive. Will definitely recommend them for check-ups and will be coming back :)

They have done a great job with caring for my dog for his first year!!! The staff have been quite attentive towards my puppy and friendly as though they are family when we visit. I love the pet club option which have been offered great cost savings from bringing him in for his vaccinations to addressing small concerns encountered with being a new puppy. We can never resist the photo ops. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend this location and staff enough! They take the time to explain each step of the process regardless if it’s just a check up, or figuring out what might be causing the issue. They don’t pressure you into a treatment plan, instead they walk you through why each item might be necessary and work with you to decide how to best treat your furry friend.

We were told that our first visit is free since we adopted from Paws Chicago. When we arrived, the lady who helped us get checked in was wonderful. Once we were taken back, we raised several concerns we had about our new pup. None of these concerns were addressed. Instead, they took her into another room and said they’d be back in a few. Came back and said she needed an anal gland expression and then handed us an iPad that said we owe over $100 for the expression and for testing her poop (even though we said this was an initial paws visit and didn’t know the poop diagnostic would be an up charge). It was very clear that they were just trying to sell us services instead of listening to what we wanted answers for; which is NOT how healthcare should be, regardless if it’s a human or dog. The vet said our pup would be prescribed Benadryl and something for her eyes. We never received either of those things from them. Also, they gave us a 3-in-1 tablet and told us to have her take it the next day… this is after we told them she just had the ointment treatment a few days before. Are they trying to harm the animals? Seriously considering calling my bank over the $60 charge we paid when it should have been free like we were told.

I bring my cat Anna and my dog Pip to Dr, Hoffman at VCA. I have had great experiences using this vet, she is kind, patient and thorough. I like how they go through the prices first and I can adjust it to better fit my needs and budget. I highly recommend this particular VCA 100%.
