How to Save on Veterinary Costs at 4 Paws Pet Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I am relatively new to this vet office, having changed practices due to scheduling struggles (long wait for appointments) with previous vet office. I like Dr. Fedrow. She listens, knows what she's doing and discusses treatment. My issue is with a certain judgemental vet tech who thinks she knows better than anyone. No one in ANY type of medical provider, human or animal, should be judgemental. Personally, I don't care what she thinks she knows. If just one person hesitates to go to a vet with a pet because people like her are sitting in judgement, then she is creating way more harm than good. There are plenty of people who, when faced with being judged and looked down on, would skip going - for themselves or a pet. She needs to find a different career where her judgemental attitude doesn't affect the health of pets or people. She is a detriment to that office.

New to the area so we were in need of a new vet. Wonderful front desk staff and vet techs. Vet was very thorough and addressed all my concerns for our new puppy.

A veterinarian's office that truly cares! Becky the vet tech provided my dog Tyson and me with exceptional care, compassion and kindness above and beyond of what I typically received from other vets. I recently adopted a senior dog and had to use the vet the rescue uses for his dental and neuter under contract. I was so fortunate that was the case! Everything was explained to me before his procedures. I received a complete rundown of extremely reasonably priced extra services I could opt to include. I received a phone call immediately after his surgeries were completed. When I picked him up, I had a very down to earth, friendly and comprehensive conversation on aftercare, medications and what to expect in the upcoming days. Becky was so kind and loving to my dog. I was totally at ease that he was in her care for the day. I cannot say enough great things about this practice! The waiting area is welcoming and very clean. All my questions and concerns were answered and eased. I will recommend this practice to everyone, even though it is 45 minutes from my home. Care like this is priceless. They partner with animal rescues and shelters so their heart is in the right place. I am so thankful! The best in the biz!

Absolutely HORRIBLE... we had to make the tough decision to put our dog down and our vet was out of town. I called and verified the price 3 different times, but when we got there we were charged more than double of the quote we were give, the only reasoning they could give was because they just quoted the euth price and not the cremation price when I specifically asked about the communal cremation and not to mention we were upcharged because she was 60.1 pounds when she needed to be no more than 60 pounds. So instead of taking her collar off to compensate for the ONE OUNCE, they just took advantage of someone who's already having to make the decision to put down their family pet. We definitely feel this office is more money hungry instead of being compassionate during a very hard time.
