I have been bringing my pets here for 20 years. I don't even live in Belvidere any more but I still make the drive. I've dealt with a lot of veterinarians before but this office is truly exceptional. The level of care and compassion is unparalleled. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets anymore. Fast, friendly, affordable, yet exceptional service. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It's an emotional experience when you need medical care for your pets and the compassion and empathy my pets and I have been shown here is something I will never forget. Thank you for all you do!

Back in June 2023 my dog was treated here and had surgery. This animal hospital is very accommodating and was able to get a same day appointment which was excellent. My dogs situation was taken care of and she recovered well. Very glad for the great service here.

This place of operation was very clean waiting room, scale,exam rooms, etc I will even say the outside grounds were well maintained. Staff was awesome with my questions as well as the handling of my pet. This is our new Vet Clinic. Thank you for being the best at what you do.

This place is amazing! They have Wonderful customer service and even better vets and techs. They were able to handle an emergency situation with our dog and did it in the most kind loving way possible. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

After referring Belvidere Family Pet Hospital to a friend I realized I’ve never made a review. I absolutely recommend this place. Dr. Jokers and Dr. Probst were wonderful to my boys (dogs). I moved to Belvidere a little over 3 years ago (during Covid) and was calling around vets and emergency hospitals in the area for an urgent need. My dog had an eye ulcer and he was in a lot of pain. Every place I had called wanted to make an appointment for days and even weeks out. The walk-in clinics told me it would be a wait time of 12 hours or more. Belvidere Family Hospital staff and doctors understood the pain my dog was in and was able to get me in the same day within a few hours. After that both of my boys were patients at the clinic. Every time I was in there for scheduled appointments I never minded if I had to wait an extra few minutes knowing that they were probably helping out a pet that was worked into the schedule and needed to be seen in an urgent manner. They have always been kind and caring to my boys. Both of my boys (they were elderly in dog years) started having health issues last year and were treated with care and compassion. Dr. Probst was very honest in a kind way with diagnosis and health issues. Urgent calls and text from me were always returned for my boys to be seen, including when it was finally time for them to not suffer anymore. My boys have since then both crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge and the care and compassion from Dr. Probst and the entire staff I will never forget.
