How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Family Pet Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

So we heard very good things about this vet clinic so we decided to get our new dog an appointment there. We made an appointment They screwed up the times I made appointment at 4:30 and they had us down for four. We got there at 4:15 and they said the doctor is an already left. There’s nothing they could do and we drove 45 minutes to get there. They didn’t even close until 5 o’clock and they said the vet was no longer there.

Dr. Gene is so good to all four of our dogs! He makes it easy for us to bring them to the clinic because they actually enjoy seeing him. Kendra is a gem also!

We have been clients of this clinic for 7 years, we have had two dogs and a cat all come here, upon recommendation. The receptionists and vet techs here do a good job and are clearly animal people. I have nothing good to say about any of the vets that are here. Vets are grossly rude to their techs which makes everyone in the room uncomfortable. Can you imagine the kind of “teamwork” that is here? How much communication would you have with your superior if you had to walk on eggshells all the time? Patients can hear behind the closed doors, albeit they’re rude in the room as well. Final starw was after a surgery they misinformed us and then didn’t have any compassion or care to even examine him after multiple operations. If you need annual shots, you can trust them. Anything beyond that, please please go to someone else. Your animals will thank you for it.

Such a friendly staff; the vets are absolutely amazing and compassionate. I always feel like they treat my 2 dogs with love, kindness, and handled gently. Very respectful of me as well. Love them!!!!
