I was a client of Town and Country. I had a 16 yr old Lhasa who was in declining health. Over the weekend, he went downhill rapidly. He stopped eating and drinking. Monday morning I called Town and Country and explained that I needed to bring him in for end of life care. The person who I spoke with told me very coldly that the next available appointment is Thursday at 3 pm. I explained that he wasn’t eating or drinking and was in a great deal of pain and he needed end of life care. Again, she very coldly repeated “OUR NEXT AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT IS THURSDAY AT 3 PM.” There was no compassion or empathy at all. I asked one more time if there could be any accommodation. Again it was “OUR NEXT AVAILABLE………” I called a vet in Kalona and explained my situation and the response I got from Town and Country. They immediately said “Bring him in. We will take care of him.” They are my new vet.

I like Dr. Miller and her staff. She took the time to sit and different options for Bambi and we discussed quality of life. Impressed with her bedside manners
