I called because my 16yr old chihuahua is not well. And I ask if walk in is OK? She said no we do not take walk in sounds like she's not willing to help vib. Then I asked when is the next available appointment? Her reply was don't you have a regular vet?? So I said I do blue cross! So I'll just give them a call then. And I hang up. No compassion to the pet in need. And why gotta be rude? Im jus looking for a place to save my little girl😪. I Google search for a vet nearest to me and found them. I 🙏 to find a place asap she gave us 16yrs she's a family 🐕😭. 5/22/23 time called @ 1:36pm

Thoughtful care, affordable prices. I drive cross-island to see Dr Darren Kamiya, because he cares for the well-being of my pets more than getting rich. I have been charged double elsewhere. Most importantly, I trust that my pets are getting the best possible care in his office. Shout out to the Vet Techs who manage to comfort my squirmy and awkward Chihuahua 👍

I love Dr Darin and his staff. Rena and the other front office staff really take the time to help answer all your questions and concerns. The office staff especially Rena will take the time to really listen to you (even when I babble) and relay the message to each doctor. Both doctors answer all your questions and respond to you quickly. The vet techs are loving to each pet and try very hard in making the owners and pets feel calm and safe. The medical care my dog receives in this office is phenomenal. Thank you Newtown Vet clinic.

Great vet! Father and son practice. They have taken care of my fur baby even in emergency situations. My dog has several health problems so we are here more than we would like but the staff and Drs are awesome. I highly recommend Newtown Vet Clinic. They’re partner with Hawaiian Humane Society as a vet for newly adopted pets!
