How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Pet Medical Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Amazing. I took my cat for a suspected urinary infection, and Dr. Kawamoto was excellent at assessing her temperament, giving a routine exam, and prescribing needed antibiotics. Short and to the point, asking relative questions. The cost was pleasing. Very happy.

Was awesome with my dog. Gave him all his attention. The visit was for the dog not me but still answered my questions and made recommendations to the dog. Not a people person surely a Dr Doolittle. Love him and would recommend him.

Never stepping foot again at: Pet medical center on Luhia St I only went there as that's where my fur baby had his 1st shots with the original owner, so I didn't think to research any reviews on that place! Huuuuge mistake! extremely hot :no AC or ventilation of any kind! Not even an open window) dirty piled old and fresh bird poop, floors that haven't been mopped in a long time ... The doc was very unapproachable, It's like I was bothering him for being there!

The vet is not a people person, but he's not there to treat people, he's there to treat animals. He was really good with my dog, and he took care of everything needed with very little conversation, for instance, I asked for flea treatment and he just left the room without saying anything, but he got the treatment I needed. The charges were really reasonable too. It's easy to get an appointment, which is a plus, as most vets in the area are not taking new clients. I don't need a fancy office and a lot of feedback from the vet, I just need my dog taken care of and he did a very good job. I will continue to take my dog to him.
