How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We’ve been seeing Georgetown Vet Hospital for the better part of a year. They’ve seen us through the regular every day stuff, as well as injuries and illnesses. I love this vet! Our dog is 9 and this is our favorite vet she’s seen. Everyone here is exceptionally nice, welcoming, and professional. They have good availability and visits are always quick and easy. They treat our dog with such gentleness and she loves all of them!

I was visiting family in the area and had my dog, Rylie, along for the trip when an unexpected urgent issue occurred. My husband called around to 10+ vets in the area & this office was the only one who could get us in with less than 24 hours notice and at a reasonable rate at that. All of the staff I met were incredibly kind and helpful. Amy, Melissa and Dr. Hassan were so professional and sweet to both my dog and my human baby as well. Dr. Hassan took the time to explain everything before and after the procedure and made me feel at ease during a stressful situation. I'm so thankful for this office being able to see Rylie on such short notice and very happy with the care she received. I will definitely return if she needs care on future visits.

Very friendly, helpful and informative clinic. They take good care of my pets every visit and call for updates also. No long waits for visits either. 10/10 would recommend.

The care our lil guy received was perfect! They were masked up and served us curbside so only our puppy's health would be a concern. Having not been to a vet (since Gozer is only a month old) with such a small breed ever, we were also shocked at how inexpensive the service was, especially compared to the quality of care and excellent communication. They even called a couple days later to make sure he reacted well to his medicine. I'm so glad this place is close to home but we would gladly drive an hour each way to go back if we had to.

Dr Hassan was super when it was our little girl's time to leave. So compassionate and sweet. The receptionist was too worried that we came at closing. Once she realized the seriousness she changed her attitude as we left without our girl.
