How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Countryside Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This was our first visit to countryside for our new English bulldog puppy. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions and explained the whole process, results ect. The doctor spent an adequate amount of time answering all of our questions and explaining the things we needed to be mindful of for her specific breed. We look forward to working with countryside and having them continue to care for our sweet Sabrina!

Dr. Brown is amazing! My mare can be difficult when it comes to shots and she’s always patient with her ! My gelding is very old and has had some issues and she’s always gotten to the bottom of it and made him comfortable. She’s amazing and I really appreciate how much she cares for my best friends!

Countryside Veterinarian's services with my goats and donkeys are top notch. Easy to get an appointment and they are patient with my feisty donkey. They even helped to wrangle one of my goats one visit. It is nice to know that these sweet pasture animals are getting great care.

I’ve been taking my animals to Countryside for about two years now. They are much more caring and considerate of both my pup and I than his previous vet. They have top notch well trained staff with compassionate bedside manner and their Vets are the best I’ve had the pleasure to work with on my furbabies health and wellness. Their front desk staff is always pleasant and kind and act with a sense of urgency. They are a wonderful secret gem in Covington. I give them my highest recommendation and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my furbabies care. Keep up the Great work!!
