How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Vine Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Rafla & his staff have always been super knowledgeable, helpful, & accommodating to me & my 2 greyhounds. He has helped us navigate through regular checkups to one with digestive issues & even one that needed surgery due to a running injury. They are very kind to the animals, and my dogs are always happy to be seen there.

I used to work here years ago as a tech, just about a year after Dr. Rafla opened. He has always took care of my family’s and friends’ pets well. I only left out of medical necessity and a career change, but would go back and work with his practice if I could. I know hundreds of veterinarians personally, and will still drive over an hour away for him to manage my furbabies’ care. His prices are fair, his judgment is sound, and he really is compassionate about his service to community and animals. He’d never try to sell you something you don’t need, and he is honest about prognosis. If he can’t perform a specialty service for your pet, he has great referrals.

I have a brand new Yorkie puppy and they have taken such good care of her. Dr. Rafla takes his time with her, and also explains everything to me thoroughly. His office staff is amazing. Definitely bring your pet to Vine. You'll love it!

I couldn’t recommend Vine Animal hospital more. Dr Rafla is by far the most caring vet I’ve ever taken my animals to. He genuinely cares and takes the time to provide the best treatment. I feel lucky to have found him and will never go anywhere else with my animals.
