His knowledge in Eastern and Western Veterinary Medicine and compassion for his patients are unlike any other I’ve ever encountered. I’ve seen so many vets with my dog and his ongoing issues with joints (he’s a big corgi) both in Chicago and Miami and I can confidently say that I have never ever seen a doctor as caring, as gentle, and as thoughtful as Dr Ferran. I’ve seen some really knowledgeable vets for sure but their approach has always been either surgeries or pumping the dog with giant doses of steroids. Dr Ferran cares not just about treating conditions but also about the highest level of comfort for the animal while staying conservative with medications. Ive been skeptical about holistic medicine in general but after seeing Dr Ferran and talking to him, I decided to follow his advice (he is knowledgeable in different methods - traditional, holistic, and experimental) - I’ve been bringing my dog for acupuncture here (which surprisingly helped him SO MUCH - he definitely feels less discomfort, he is less stressed and more active, and he started wiggling his butt normally and evenly when walking), and over time Dr Ferran recommended very low doses of non steroidal anti inflammatory meds (much lower than recommended by other vets). He is more conservative and very patient. Also, I have to mention that while doing x rays or surgeries he is really careful with sedation (my dog always feels good after, unlike other places where he was dizzy and nauseous for the whole day after). And, most importantly, for some reason my dog is NOT SCARED going into the office! Even though he’s had a long history with vets and he used to run away if he saw the vet’s door. Scheduling is impeccable, too - appointments are ALWAYS on time and they keep you on schedule with reminders, follow ups and calls prior to the appointment to make sure you’re coming in time or running late. I have never seen a better veterinary practice

Dr Ferran is a very straightforward veterinarian. He will tell you exactly what your pet has and he will present all the options available in a very professional and human way! We recommend him with our eyes closed!

Ok I almost hate to tell you how great this place is - as then everyone is going to rush over there! This is one of the only competent wholistic vets in maimi. Dont wait until you kill your beloved pet by over vaccinating them before you go to this vet who will sort through the recommendations and ease your mind that you're doing right by your pet. I've been to several vets about two problems 1) my toy poodle chokes everytime he drinks h20 & 2) he scratches his muzzel all night. The other vets ea gave me a different diagnoses NONE of which said that some small breeds have collapsed tracheas (and this vet recommended a neck x-ray to find out). I'm not crazy about multiple xrays (for humans OR dogs) but when you need one, get it!!! Im going to stick with this vet and Ill report back to you to let you know how it goes.

Great vet and all around person, Dr. Ferran is amazing at what he does. He gives you straight forward advice and his holistic approach is awesome. His staff are also very knowledgeable and friendly. On top of everything the pricing is great. He offers packages that save tons of money on vaccinations for instance. I will certainly continue to take my two pups here as well as any future pets I own. I will also definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who has a new pet and are looking for a quality vet or have had a bad experience at his or her current vet.
