How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Galloway Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Amazing crew. So considerate and the dogs love them here. They treated the passing of our family dog, Ginger with the utmost care and respect. They continue to care for Sparky with kindness. Sparky loves coming here!! He is well taken care of.

We had a great experience at Galloway Animal Hospital. They did a great job taking care of our five small dogs and they looked a lot happier when we picked them up when compared to the last place. They each got a good bath and I could tell they were well cared for while there. Sharon who was our initial contact was very kind and patient with us throughout the process and went out of her way to work with and accommodate us. We even got a 20% discount for our first tryout. We will be using them going forward for boarding and will be looking into their other services. Thank you Galloway Animal Hospital for taking such good care of our loved ones, we truly appreciate it!

I always go to Galloway for boarding and veterinary care for my cat. They have been taking fantastic care of my Jellybean! He's so happy and well taken care of. I'll never take any of my pets anywhere else!

Apparently my pain was so great that I confused the vet. I apologize to the clinic Galloway there where they treated my baby 7 years ago I liked it unfortunately I took him to the Gilley animal clinic where he died.

Office manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Brought in a stray and never explained or told my husband and I there was a consultation fee for $60 on the stray. They even asked if I was sure it was a stray and not my cat when taking it in for consultation. I said I can either take the cat to Humane society but I was afraid they put her down. So they said they would look. Then they call to give me an estimate of $800! I was CLEAR this was a stray and I didn’t want to keep the cat from the start and they could keep the cat. The offered to pay for pain medicine and antibiotics and try that route but they said no. They clearly just wanted me to do all the X-rays, labs etc on this stray. How is it both my husband and I missed her saying $60 consultation fee? No way! Then she calls me “Honey” in a condescending manner. I couldn’t believe this was a manager? She ends the conversation with “well since the $60 is such a big deal to you then I’ll pay for it” and hangs up. I was shocked, absolutely shocked and blown away by the treatment and lack of communication on their part on their policy.! I fully understand they aren’t in the business to lose money but all fees should have been disclosed before taking the cat. She says all places do this for strays as if I’m suppose to know. I do not recommend this place whatsoever.
