Banfield Pet Hospital

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Banfield Pet Hospital. After canceling my pet insurance, I was shocked to find that I was still being charged. When I called to resolve it, I was told that their system “automatically renews every year,” even though I never re-authorized or agreed to continued enrollment. To make matters worse, I recently noticed charges that appear related to my dog’s castration procedure—charges that I was not aware of and certainly did not knowingly approve for years. It feels like there was very little transparency in how they handled my account or communicated their billing practices. Overall, I found their customer service unhelpful and dismissive, and their billing system extremely frustrating and confusing. I expected far better from a national pet care provider. I will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to double-check their accounts and billing statements if they use Banfield.

I was highly satisfied with my experience at Banfield Pet Hospital because of the excellent care and attention my pet received. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. From the moment we walked in, they made both me and my pet feel comfortable and at ease. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions patiently. I also appreciated how gentle and compassionate they were during the exam. The appointment was on time, the facility was clean, and the whole visit felt very well-organized. I left feeling confident that my pet was in great hands.

Very poor customer service. They call you countless times to schedule appointments, but then attend to you whenever they feel like it. This happened every single time I went to the clinic over almost 4 years. I canceled my plan because I find it completely disrespectful that they don’t value your time. I even asked the assistant for the number to cancel my plan, and she said she would send it by email—but never did. I waited almost an hour on the phone, and just when someone was about to answer, the call dropped. Do not waste your money at Banfield Hospital. There are much better options in Miami—with more professionalism and human warmth

I recently visited Banfield Pet Hospital and overall had a good experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and took great care of my pet. I really appreciated how they explained everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the visit. The only downside was a discrepancy between the initial price I was quoted and the final amount I was charged. It was a huge difference, and it’s something that could definitely be improved for better transparency. Aside from that, the service was solid, and I’d still recommend Banfield for pet care.
