How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Veterinary Eye Institute Gainesville

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The vets and the support staff are very knowledgeable and caring when dealing with your pets ,the experience is always great when I take our Buster in for his appointments. I'm always in and out in a timely manner, the staff remembers your pet when you come in and they treat them like their own, I recommend VEI for anybody who has pets with eye issues.

We unfortunately lost one of our dogs eyes, but Dr. Kevin Donnelly and his staff treated us so lovingly and with great kindness. They explained everything and we knew we were in excellent hands. Our dog is doing well and so are we…that’s what counts! Thanks for all the Wonderful care!!!

I took my 17 year old Chihuahua to the Eye Institute as she has kataraks and felt she could not see and wanted to understand if there something I could for her. With compassion the Doctor informed me that she most likely had Dementia as well and that was more the issue than her eyes. He felt that surgery would not be the best outcome for her. I can't tell you how much I appreciated his honesty and Kander. I would recommend them to anyone as they are quality of life first!
