How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Northwood Oaks Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The staff here is beyond amazing. They are always so friendly and take excellent care of all my dogs. I have 5 medium to large breed dogs. They truly care for my dogs and it shows. I’ve never had a bad experience with them even when I’m getting hard news. For as long as I live in the area, this is where I’ll bring my dogs. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you Northwood Oaks Veterinary Hospital staff.

Dr.Garcia and her staff were very gentle with my cat and took time to explain everything to me. The reception area has two friendly kitties that greet you when you walk in and that made us feel extra welcomed. Worth the drive.

The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to take extra time to address all owner concerns. They are extra cautious with my cats to ensure that their visits are fear free. Ellie makes sure to go the extra mile to quickly find answers to all of my questions both during and after our office visits. I really appreciate the attentiveness and specialized care that Northwood provides for my kitties!

From the moment you walk in you feel at home. The patience and care they gave both my dog and cat that got neutered was very comforting. They answered all my questions and made sure not to make me feel rushed. If you love your fur baby, this is the place to take them for their wellness journey.
