How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VCA Tri-County Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I want to say thank you to everyone at VCA tri-county for over the past 5 years of taking care of my fur baby Shiloh. Dr. Wallace always took such amazing and great care of her since day 1. From her severe ear infection, her wellness check ups/exams and her much needed mass removal surgery. I appreciate everything you have done for my baby as well as all the amazing staff and techs. I want to say thank you to Dr.J too for doing everything you could for her in her final moments. You guys are all great and I appreciate everything. I also appreciate Mary who always groomed shiloh and kept her looking cute as always. I’m thankful my baby got to leave peacefully, surrounded by love and care. Thank you all from Shiloh (r.i.p) and me

Absolutely the best VET, experience we’ve have! 💕🙏 For the 1st time, in all the years I’ve had my doggie, 12 years, my Georgia was approached with warmth, and Aww who’s this good girl kind of thing!! 🤗 Everything before was cold, poking and prodding! This time, Cheyanne, Tech, and the DR, were sitting on the floor loving on and talking to her to calm her nerves!! It was so special !! As my r girl is approaching, 17 , I needed somewhere that truly felt like the best fit for for us, as the day will come that I’ll need all the support that is required to do the necessary. I’m so glad I found this Animal Hospital, they are an above and beyond experience! Thanks so much!! Todd, & Georgia 😍

Okay yes, this place went above and beyond. I took my kitty to get spayed and the service was really good. The treatment they gave her there was very kind and nice and the doctors and vets were very informative. I'll bring my other cat next here!

I want to offer my deepest gratitude to the staff of VCA . My dog Fifi was having a hard time breathing, and one of the staff members a lady named Melissa, came over to my car and offered to take in my dog for a checkup. Mind you, the office wasn’t open and yet she opened the door and immediately summoned the techs who took my Fifi and gave her oxygen. Dr. Alicea was top notch. She described every aspect of the treatment, and later called and gave complete details and discharge instructions . If I could give them all 10 stars I would. VCA Tri-county Animal Hospital is the Best!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at VCA. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring. Dr. Wallace and Dr. A takes the time to listen, explain everything thoroughly, and truly treats our dog like family. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and it shows in the level of care they provide. The entire team goes above and beyond to make both pets and owners feel comfortable. We are so grateful to have such a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinary team caring for our dog! Thank you, Christina, Berry and Snowy
