Excellent intake process for new patients, experience during the visit was clear & customer friendly, and follow up was quick. The navy yard location is very clean with plenty of room in the waiting area and exam rooms for my large dog. Highly recommend & will be returning.

I've had great experiences at District Vet in Navy Yard. I reluctantly left Friendship (which has great vets and advanced hospital services!) because it was so hard to get an appointment for regular care and it's always very crowded, which stresses out my dog. The team at the Navy Yard location are fantastic, the vets take the time with you and your pet, and they offer tech services like nail trims. I live close enough to walk for normal services, and it's relatively easy to find (paid) street parking nearby. It's also a lovely space with lots of natural light.

I’ve never had a dog who gets excited and pulls to go INTO the Vet’s office! Every member of the team here is friendly, kind, compassionate and helpful. The care is fantastic and the prices reasonable.

We love this place!! Our golden retriever adores coming here - we literally have to avoid it on our walks because he gets so excited :) The staff is attentive to both pet and parent. It is very easy to make appointments and the scheduling team is very responsive. We have also used their virtual chat tool for emergencies and found it super helpful. Highly recommend if you are in the Navy Yard/Capitol Hill area!

Showed the utmost love & concern for my Chico Rico when he was dying. No rush to put him to sleep but gave us as much time as needed. Thank you, Jade M and all others. You made this painful day a little easier to bear.
