Cobalt veterinary clinic review I just returned home after picking up some medication for my dogs, from the new Cobalt Veterinary Clinic, formerly Portland Veterinary Hospital. As I sit thinking about how gorgeous, comfortable, and calming their new building is, I realized that somehow I have never written a review for the best Veterinarian that I have ever had the pleasure of working with in my life. I’m not sure how it’s possible that I never took the time to write a review, given how incredibly much their doctors and staff have done for my extensive furry and four-legged family. Animal lovers to our cores, my husband and I share our lives with four dogs, and three cats. We honestly probably would not have welcomed so many adopted pups and kitties into our home over the years, if we weren’t blessed with a local veterinarian whose knowledge and ethics we so unquestionably trust. Portland Veterinary Hospital/Cobalt Veterinary Clinic has always been there for us... From joyful first check ups for a newly adopted family member, to sharing our pain of tearful goodbyes during the loss of a faithful friend, and everything in between, the wonderful people at Cobalt Veterinary Clinic has given us a level of confidence in our veterinarians that we’ve never before felt, prior to when we first came to their door at the Portland location 7 years ago. It is amazing and relieving to be able to fully trust the professionals in whose hands we place the health of our loved ones, as we do here without question for all of our canine and feline kids. Dr. John is incredibly compassionate with our family dog Bear. After a long week at the lake house our sweet boy had a concerning sore on his face and without hesitation Dr. John took time out of his lunch hour to see him. We are soooo thankful to have found his practice after a few “not so good” ones. Thank you to everyone at Cobalt Veterinary my family and I are beyond grateful for your love and care.

Rather pleasant experience, got the issue with my pup resolved, but they did have us wait in an examination room for over twenty five minutes, which was difficult for my extremely anxious dog. I felt the wait time was a bit unreasonable as we did have an appointment and were there on time. The staff was friendly and nice, and things can be unpredictable with other animals, but just would have been nice to get a "sorry for the wait" or something.

They go above and beyond for our animals. The best care in veterinary medicine we have ever received. Highly recommend them. Top quality care, clean, beautiful place. Wonderful genuine and caring staff. I will never bring my animals anywhere else. They helped us whenever our animals needed urgent care, and helped us in our time of need when it was their time to cross the rainbow bridge. Made it just a little less painful to carry. Thank you all
