How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Veterinary Emergency Center
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Communication Preferences
Ask how the clinic communicates with pet parents, including updates, test results, and follow up questions.
Breed Specific Health Considerations
Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

10/10 would recommend! We needed diagnostics done on my poor pup who was violently throwing up. Though canton didn’t have a surgeon on staff (it was suspected she had a foreign object) they offered for us to come in and so diagnostics so that if she needed surgery we could get into a clinic I. Much faster than the 6-8 waiting period we were given. She needed up not having a foreign object and canton took AMAZING care of her. They truly made me feel heard and cared for as well as our dog!

This emergency center has always been professional and accommodating, as we've used them several times already for one of our adopted kittens who was sickly upon receipt. They also follow through with your regular vet and with you/your pet. Their facility is immaculate. I'm glad I have this option when our standard vets do not have weekend visits or on-call coverage for weekend or evening emergencies. Thank you for your care.

We have always had a wonderful experience, the staff is caring, compassionate and professional. We highly recommend you to anyone we know or to those needing emergency care. I do wish your were 24-hrs and that you accepted Potbelly Pigs. I also wish you weren't just for emergencies. Again, we highly recommend you. Kind Regards, Linda and Carl Klebe

My little dog Flick (top) ate a chocolate bar that I had cleverly forgotten was in my car when I buckled him into the backseat. I'm so glad we brought him here right away, we called ahead and they were ready to take him back right away. They kept me updated on what they were doing with him and were very friendly. Thanks to their quick work he's totally fine now! They even called later to check up on him. I appreciated that they were cautious enough to check with poison control that based on what he had eaten and thrown up it was safe to take him home, but didn't try to sell me unnecessary overnight treatment. Hopefully we won't need an emergency vet again anytime soon but if we do I'll be happy to come back here!

Friendly staff, professional, courteous and attention to care. We took our Rocky when he was not doing well turns out he needed surgery and the care and attention to him and they way they kept us at ease during the process was incredibly amazing. I will recommend this place to all. The facility is very nice and clean and welcoming.
