How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Burlington Veterinary Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The staff at the Burlington Veterinary Center puts your pet first and is intuned to making your pet comfortable and feeling safe. The staff listens attentively to your questions and answers them thoughtfully. While extremely thorough in providing information about options, I don't feel pressure from the staff to pay for optional tests. I have only been bringing my pets to this practice for two years, but I already feel a connection with the staff. I appreciate that I see the same vet each time so she gets to know my cats and me. Everyone is helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable.

Always a fabulous visit. The doctors and team are phenomenal. You would be hard pressed to find a veterinarian group that comes close to the care and concern this coordinated, super team provides for their patients and their patients owners.

We've loved Burlington Vet Center since the day we brought our puppy in for his first check up. The staff is wonderful and the prices are very fair and reasonable. We credit Dr. Esherick for our boy's easy-going personality as he gave us excellent insight and recommendations for new puppy owners that helped us focus on the right training. Dr. Trevino is amazing as well and provided fantastic care to Reggie, especially as he neared the end of his life. After 11 years our boy passed away somewhat quickly and unexpectedly, and the outpouring of compassion and support from the entire team has completely blown us away. There's nowhere else we'll ever bring our future pets.

Absolutely the best vet I have ever had. Not only is the facility clean & beautiful, the doctor and staff are just amazing. I brought a sick kitten and they took great care of her. I will continue to put my trust in Dr. Trevino. She is hands on, very inquisitive and doesnt do the "extra" unless she feels absolutely necessary. Hands down, the best vet in the area.

Dear Doctors and Staff at Burlington Veterinary Center, It has been a month since we have had to say goodbye to our dog “Coach” after 12 wonderful, spirited years! No doubt, all dog owners know the feeling coming home after a tough work day, but the tail greeting you is always wagging. The sensitivity, emotional and family like support, softened a tough time and difficult decision. We want to thank everyone at BVC. The compassion Dr. Trevino showed to our Coach and us during the end of his life’s journey was beyond expectations. Thank you all! Deeply Appreciative, Elaine & Marty Schupak
