Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I took my cat in because he had a problem with his eye. The staff was very kind and reassuring to my cat, and he trusted them. The vet diagnosed him with Glaucoma. The prescribed eye drops, and we'll see how that goes. They were kind and conscious about giving him the best care for the least amount of money. We will definitely go back, and I recommend them highly!

New in town and was seeking a vet who could help me with my senior dog. He had lots of issues with arthritis. She came up with a good solution and hopefully it will work. Her staff was great and answered all my questions.

Always hate finding new services after you move. I rescue senior dogs so a good vet is necessary. Dr. Steiner will just tell you the facts and not pressure you into anything you don’t feel comfortable with or may not be able to afford. She will discuss all routes of care with you and do what’s best. When I had to put one of my senior dogs down, the process was pleasant and they did not rush for time. If you’re local, definitely suggest going here. If you’re in the springs and are willing to make the drive, I suggest you do.

This was my first time using Rampart Range and I would gladly use them again. My dog was experiencing an issue that needed to be handled today and my regular Vet could not get us in until 2 1/2 days from now. Not good. The staff was helpful and although the doctor was very busy they took me as a drop-off. Great knowledgeable and cordial staff. Highly recommend.
