How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Traveling Vet LLC

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have use Dr. Caroline since the 1990's she is amazing!!! I worked for veterinarians for 7 year in the past and when I moved to Colorado is was a nightmare trying to find a competent vet for my little and big 4 legged kids! Here we are 2025 and God has blessed me with Dr. Caroline all these years. I have so much respect for her, she is the best veterinarian!!!! Janet French Quincy, Chet, Gibbs and Walker 🥰🥰🥰

Dr Griffiths is the best. She really knows how to work with dogs. One of our dogs was super hard to work with and she could give him his shots while I held him. Nobody else could do that. Her prices are awesome and she comes to your house. She does it all from yearly checkups, to emergency visits, to euthanasia. She is great to work with and the dogs love her. As much as they can love a veterinarian. She has successfully healed our old dogs when other veterinarians threw their hands up and said they didn't know what to do. I can't recommend Dr. Griffiths enough.

Caroline has been our vet since 2010, and we have been consistently impressed with the degree of care she brings to the animals, and of equal importance, their humans. The relationship between humans and animals is deep and individual. Caroline doesn't use a cookie-cutter approach - she knows us and our cats. When a cat nears end of life, she knows what to do, is very available. Caroline provides great comfort and solace to all parties. The experience is very different from a veterinary clinic. Caroline has even found suitable new cats for older folks (like us), and saved the cat, as well as the humans who love them.

I love, love, love Dr. Griffith. She has been our vet for over 20 years, and she takes care of my cats, dogs, reptiles, and other pets, and every time she is right on. I totally trust her with my pets. Having a vet come to your house is the best thing you can do for your pets. That way, they are in their own habitat, and the stress level stays low. Dr. Griffith is also one of the main veterinarians during the Iditarod each year for as long as I can remember. In those ice-cold conditions, you need a top vet to keep the dogs healthy and strong to finish the run. I highly recommend The Traveling Vet.

I have spent a lifetime around animals and so have spent a lifetime dealing with veterinarians. Carolyn is by far the most compassionate and skilled vet I have ever worked with. Even when she is busy and hard to get ahold of she is well worth the wait. Our whole family and all their pets love her. You won’t find a more level headed caring vet!!
