How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Peakview Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We've been taking our dogs here for a year now and every visit is always phenomenal. Our older dog needed surgery for a large mass and they kept us up to date on everything and made it the easiest process. Just recently our puppy had parvo and was not doing well at all. The vet (McKenna) was so kind and caring. She really made us feel a lot better about everything. The puppy is on the mend, and we couldn't be more thankful for the staff here.

These guys are the best. We won't ever take our critters anywhere else. Friendly and helpful staff. Our dog had some issues, and they got her fixed up quick. Thank you all.

If you love your pet, don't take them here. From the receptionist to the vet , these people absolutely make me sick. My dog's death could've been so easily avoided. Do you think they care? They don't. Your beloved pet is just an object to them IMO

I can't say enough how grateful I am for this vet. They were the ONLY vet that was willing/able to treat my sick and injured feral colony cat without an appointment. From now on this animal hospital will be my go to vet for all my feral fur babies. Thank you for caring!

If I could put ZERO stars I would. I wouldnt recommend this veterinarian. We boarded our two dogs for 8 days and they came back with injuries and weight loss, along with other issues. They tried to charge for services not rendered. Try a different vet for quality care.
