How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Rocky Mountain Veterinary
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr G is the best! She really saved me from making a big mistake from bad advice. Had I not of met her quite randomly my great performing mare would have lost the prime of her life treating her instead of fixing the underlying problem. Cant say enough good things about her but I obviously recommend!

Didn't get my pet seen but was traveling & had a concerning situation. Dr. was nice enough to call me back on a weekend if not mistaken and offered to come to our hotel if his symptoms didn't improve. Thankfully they did! Very grateful she returned our call & have no issue that she is house call only. She went above & beyond!

I called her yesterday morning left message she called back within the hr. Made an appointment for 4pm. This worked out so good I didn't want to have to take Momma cat away from babies or have to take them too. That would have stressed her and babies. She was so helpful and sweet. Didn't mind my kids watching even tried to involve my 5year old she was to be a vet. I highly recommend her. 😃☺😃☺😃☺

I called Dr. Goonan fairly short to get my dog looked at for a UTI. She worked around my schedule to get her seen, got us medication right there and was very easy to work with. On top of that we went out of town so we left our dog with my mother and Dr. G wanted my mother to call to get updates on how my dog was doing, and called when we got back into town to see how she was doing.

Dr G. is great. I called around to several vets and Dr G. was able to come out on the same day, a Saturday. Very caring and thorough. FYI, obviously she is not retired!
