How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VetCare Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I'm a vet tech but I work with dogs and cats, so my knowledge with exotics is limited. My water dragon, Delores was very lethargic and not eating for a couple weeks. James the CVT and Dr. Feldman were amazing and helped me get my dragon back to health! They even kept her overnight to ensure she was comfortable and gave me detailed nursing care for home. Delores is doing better than ever and I can't thank Dr. Feldman and James enough.

Dr Feldman and his team have been amazing and more than that, treated my babies like family. I wouldn't trust my dogs or cats to anyone else. More than just being great for check ups, when things go wrong they are patient, kind, invested and diligent. Thank you for everything you do.

Dr. Feldman is a very kind and genuine vet. He immediately saw my 18 year old senior cat more than once in emergency situations. He was always very informative of treatment plans and was compassionate towards me my cat and my situation.

Dr. Feldman is the most patient and caring veterinarian that I have had the pleasure to know. His staff also goes above and beyond to care for animals and they are very empathetic. Jo and Ashley were so kind and caring when I had to have my senior cat put to sleep. I highly recommend VetCare Animal Hospital. ❤️
