How to Save on Veterinary Costs at PetVet Vaccination Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

First time client visit, found it to be very smooth intake process for me and pet. Pet needed vaccine before holiday, was able to walk in without appointment, which helped my schedule. I am pleased with their customer service representative , very knowledgeable.

The vet really knew what she was talking about and the assistants were so sweet. It’s very rare we have a good experience at a vet office but they were perfect and knew just how to handle our timid doggies. Our two dogs give their experience a 10/10 ! They came out just as happy as when they went in. Oh and pricing is great 👍🏽

I went to the PetVet site at Tractor Supply in Watsonville and when I checked in the tech asked what I was there for. I told her I specifically wanted a cortisone shot for my dog and not Cytopoint. I then told her we had issues with Cytopoint in the past so cortisone was what I wanted. The tech said that was fine and that there were 3 people ahead of me and each would take 15-20mins. That was fine so I ended up waiting an hour before it was my turn. When I came back I was told they didnt have cortisone on site. I asked the tech if that was the case then why was I not told an hour ago when I checked in and specifically asked for cortisone. The vet ended up coming out and saying the same thing and that the only options were Cytopoint or another oral. I explained my frustration again and was told there must have been some misunderstanding but they would be happy to give administer the significantly more expensive cytopoint or oral drug. I've only used PetVet for convenience and clearly they blown that so dont see much reason to go there anymore

First off the prices can’t be beat. I’ve only been there for exams with bloodwork for my babies and I have lots of animals. At a fraction of the price of other vets, I’m able to better monitor my guys without going broke. Most importantly however, Dr. Leyda and her team are amazing, it’s apparent that they work well together. They’re gentle, efficient, and thorough with the critters, and pleasant and friendly when talking to you. I wouldn’t hesitate to go there for any service they offer.
