I wish this animal emergency was open before my other dog passed away. You are able to stay with your pet throughout much of the time. Everything is open and transparent and the staff is very empathetic towards all concerns. All questions answered. The prices are not on the low end but I do not believe i was overcharged, as this is a 24 hour emergency hospital. What a great peace of mind to know there is this kind of care day or night for our animals. Everything is comfortable and yiu can stay with your pet the whole time! Tbe restroom is very clean! Hopefully it stays like that! They have snacks and beverages for the humans. We never want to have to have these visits but just know they are there for our animal babies! Five stars all the way!!

Our little dog’s paw was bleeding a lot. Took her in to VEG ER on Crenshaw without calling first. They immediately triaged her, diagnosed it was a broken nail and with some wait time was met by ER vet who quickly addressed my dog’s medical needs and sent estimate via text. Within minutes I approved procedure and our dog was taken care of in a caring, professional manner. Being a nervous dog mom I wish the staff members would not have talked about personal matters during the procedure but our dog was taken care of properly.

My first time visiting VEG Torrance, I had to do something every pet owner dreads. I brought in my 18 year old cat, Princess, for lethargy and a ruptured abscess. After the vet examined her, we made the decision to euthanize. Amidst an incredibly difficult and soul crushing moment, I was amazed at the quality of staff and animal care at VEG. When I brought Princess in, staff were incredibly fast to assess her critical condition on a busy Saturday night. The staff were incredibly well orchestrated, skilled, focused, kind and empathetic. You’re able to stay with your pet and see everything that’s happening, which is something I appreciate and have never experienced before. Dr. B was so compassionate, communicative, and responsive as she began to understand Princess’ prognosis. I came away from this experience heart broken, of course, but filled with great gratitude for the services they provided for my family. It speaks volumes to the quality of VEG’s care that I was compelled to write a review for the euthanasia of my cat.

Dr. Emily Rue and her team of techs are truly extraordinary. Having been to other emergency hospitals in the past, I have yet to come across such a caring and dedicated team as VEG. They showed extraordinary care for both my girl Millie and myself. They went out of their way to help us and I cannot recommend their services more. The experience itself was great - being able to be by my girl’s side throughout her treatment meant the world to us. They even had a sofa bed that we were able to sleep on together while we awaited her results. All in all, I cannot recommend the team and the facility itself more. I will not go anywhere else for emergency care in the future.

I am so grateful for the wonderful staff who just took amazing care of my very anxious and injured dog. To say I was anxious too would be an understatement. They put my mind at ease, calmed my dog, explained everything, and cared for my precious boy like he was their own. You can tell they truly love what they do and are passionate. The pricing was fair and the facility was top of line, like an actual human emergency room. I would never take my pets anywhere else in the event of another emergency. A very special shout-out to Dr. Emily, Destinee, Kaylie, and Sandra. It’s hard to put into words how much them taking care of my baby meant to me. Thank you so much! Benji says thank you too! ❤️
