Having moved back to CA after 8 years we were so fortunate to find AHOS. Such compassionate and highly trained Vets and staff. Very happy with their care, concern & expertise. Highly recommend!

My first visit with Animal Hospital of the Sierra. Wow! Every single person I interacted with was so kind to my pet and me too! Not only did they take us in as an emergency but the doctor was very thorough and is consistently great with the follow up care. Thank you so much for being there for us. It is very difficult living in an area with the closest emergency vet at least an hour away.

Dr. Taylor has been my vet for the 20 years I have lived here. From immunizations, spay/neuter, teeth cleaning, surgeries and diagnoses and medications for my pets. Thank you for the loving care of you and your staff. For all you have helped me through with your expertise and without extreme diagnostic measures. Always grateful.

Went in to pick up prescription food for my cat, the lady at the front desk was absolutely rude and unreasonable about getting the cat food without an appointment. I could understand needing to renew the prescription but to entirely deny my cat her food that she's been eating to help her colitis is wrong. Offered no help or solutions besides setting an appointment weeks out for an exam. Guess my cat doesn't need to eat for a couple weeks!!! Honestly felt like she couldn't care less about my animal. SAD

Rocky had his ‘annual’ appointment this week. Everyone in this office is wonderful. Everyone in the office is friendly and seems to remember my dog. Front desk is great, vet tech is great and Dr. Taylor is the absolute best.
