Hands down the best vet! They treat our dog so kind. She is hard to handle and very skiddish and we feel so comfortable bringing her here. She also had 3 hip surgeries and all turned out successfully! Thanks Back Bay!

The best vet I’ve ever been to!!!!! Also I thought I reviewed Back Bay before but maybe that was on yelp. My most favorite thing I like about this place is they do not overcharge you and recommend unnecessary things. You know for this place to be in Newport Beach I thought it was gonna be super expensive and it’s one of the more affordable know it is the most affordable that I’ve ever been to in my 56 years and since I was 18 I’ve always had a dog or two. All the doctors are wonderful I always go to Dr Fanous and he has a heart of gold like what an amazing man… They take care of my Pomeranian little minnie Lou and my miniature pincher Ruby with Great care. I am very grateful to Back Bay veterinary hospital🙏🙏🤩

Outstanding in every possible way! They have a system set up where you wait in your car until a room is ready. It doesn't take long. Thereafter, the rooms are comfortable and although I failed to remember the Vet Tech's name, she couldn't have been more welcoming and a consummate professional. Dr. Fanous is the most caring, patient, informative Vet we have ever met. Michelle, the manager, was also incredibly helpful. Sidney, our new puppy, loved everybody! Everyone took the time to answer all our questions, gave us lots of useful information to take home and we left confident that Sidney will receive premium healthcare. Additionally, affordable! I must almost mention they have a wonderful app that conveniently has your appointments, easy communication with practice, etc... Please consider checking them out - your pet will thank you!

Our 18 month old dog's ear drum finally burst after 9+ months of persistent ear infections, multiple visits to this vet, very INCONSISTENT and INEFFECTIVE TREATMENT plans which changed every visit, and lack of proactive action taken to diagnose and improve symptoms. This was only only discovered after switching veterinarians, where we were immediately recommended to sedate and diagnose the issues she was experiencing, and antibiotics were immediately prescribed to improve symptoms. Unfortunately, we spent too long going back and forth with the clinicians at Back Bay Veterinary hospital and it was too late to avoid the outcome. This would have been very preventable had it been caught after the fourth of fifth visit to Back Bay, but the outcome will affect our dog for the rest of her life.
