How to Save on Veterinary Costs at True Blue Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We love and trust the people that work at True Blue! Our pets are family. Every time we take one of our 3 girls in they treat them so gently and with care. They obviously understand how traumatic it can be to bring your pets to the vet and treat them with so they don't have to much stress, keeping them calm and as comfortable as possible. I'm glad we found true blue we will continue to bring our fur babies there.

We were 8 hrs from home with a minor pet situation. Calls to other local veterinarians proved unhelpful, but this place, despite having a packed schedule worked us in and helped our cat. AND they were nice about it :)

The staff is definitely nice but I was not satisfied at all, 100% waste of money.I spent almost 2 hours for them to tell me that she has an infection and a “heart without any exams”. They tried to do blood work but failed because they “did not want to have her go into heart arrest”. They gave me 30% chance of survival without previos x-rays or blood work. They told me to go back the next day so try to do blood work and other exams. They let me go home with nothing, no medication, no actual diagnostic, they were out of the medication. I had to go to Turlock emergency room to get her treated.

I always feel comfortable bringing our dogs into Apricot. Each and every employee, from the receptionists, the vet techs and the doctors always make me feel that the health of my pet is important.
